EXPERTISE

Mr. Miller has practiced with Holland & Hart since 1986, and is a partner in the firm’s litigation department. He is primarily involved in complex commercial and tort litigation, and has been responsible for a number of cases in the Rocky Mountain region and the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Miller has managed and supervised the defense of products liability actions, including drug liability and other pharmaceutical products actions, regionally and nationally. These efforts have involved thousands of cases brought across the Rocky Mountain region and around the country.

Mr. Miller has developed a national reputation for his innovative use of technology in the practice of law. He has twice served on the Board of the ABA TechShow, and is currently the chair of the Technology Committee of the ABA Torts and Insurance Practice Section. He has been invited to speak at technology conferences throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America. Among other things, Mr. Miller has used his knowledge of technology to develop sophisticated platforms for efficiently managing the simultaneous defense of hundreds of pharmaceutical cases, as well as paperless systems that allow for seamless collaboration with clients, and among lawyers in all of Holland & Hart’s offices. He is also a leader in the use of technology as a tool of persuasion in the courtroom.
