EXPEIENCE

Mr. Bridston has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial, construction, and corporate disputes including trials, appeals, arbitration and mediation.  His experience includes basic and complex commercial disputes, construction disputes, corporate governance disputes, and disputes arising from complex financial transactions.  He also has extensive experience, for both plaintiffs and defendants, with complex real estate litigation.  He has handled appeals before the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Commercial Experience
Contractual disputes of all kinds
Corporate disputes, including management/leveraged buyouts, securitizations, mismanagement, waste, investment banking issues, dissolution and valuation, shareholder agreements, misappropriation of corporate advantage, officer/director duties, and oppression of minority shareholders
Business torts, including misrepresentation, concealment, negligent misrepresentation, conversion, embezzlement, and breach of fiduciary duty

Construction Experience
Disputes involving  backcharges, bidding and contract award issues, change orders, delay claims, defective plans and specifications, defective design, defective construction and warranty issues, mechanics liens, protests, and an array of payment issues

Real Estate Experience
Complex commercial and retail landlord/tenant disputes
Quiet title actions, including access, adverse possession, boundary disputes and easements
Private condemnations and rights-of-way
Trespass/nuisance claims
Specific performance
Escrow/earnest money disputes
Realtor commission disputes
Disclosure disputes (known and unknown conditions)

Mr. Bridston is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Colorado, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He is listed in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyer for Business for Construction Real Estate.
