EXPERTISE
Mr. Gilbert joined Holland & Hart in 2006. His practice concentrates
in construction law, complex commercial litigation, and real estate
litigation. Mr. Gilbert is admitted to practice Nevada, California,
the United States District Court of Nevada, The United States District
Court of California, and the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Gilbert’s construction
law experience focuses on procurement issues, contract drafting and
negotiation, delay claims, disruption and impact claims, bid protests,
prompt payment claims, prevailing wage issues, bond and lien claims.
Mr. Gilbert represents public and private owners, developers, general
contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals. Representation
of clients also includes business litigation, products liability, professional
negligence defense, insurance coverage,. Mr. Gilbert’s litigation
experience includes representing clients in both state and federal forums.
Mr. Gilbert’s products liability experience includes representation
of manufacturers in the construction materials, automobile, home appliance
and marine vessel industries.
