EXPERIENCE

Mr. Frost has been handling complex construction claims and transactions for over 20 years.  He has represented numerous owners, contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, engineers, developers, and construction lenders on all types and sizes of public and private construction projects and on all types of issues and claims, from inception to close-out.  The State of Colorado has appointed Mr. Frost as a Special Assistant Attorney General to assist the State with construction litigation.  He has significant experience in local, state, and federal contracting issues, including MBE and DBE matters.  He frequently counsels a wide variety of clients on claims management, scheduling and critical path issues, claims avoidance, and bid mistakes and protests. 

Mr. Frost provides construction services in the areas of litigation and claims presentation, environmental matters, claims avoidance and management, construction contracts and documentation, project development, project administration, and public contracting matters. He is listed in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyer for Business, for Real Estate and Construction.

Mr. Frost is a frequent speaker on construction topics and construction trial techniques.  He has presented a paper at the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry symposium, and speaks at numerous bar association conferences and seminars.  He has authored a chapter on mechanic’s liens in Real Property Practice and Litigation, published by Shephard’s/McGraw-Hill in 1990.  Mr. Frost has taught trial advocacy at the University of Colorado and has handled cases across the inter-mountain west.
